The Society is run through a network of Branch Organisers, and managed centrally by an elected Council comprising the President, Vice-President, General Secretary, Treasurer and Membership Secretary who are also Trustees.
Additionally there is a Journal Manager, Journal Editor, Newsletter Editor and Conservation Officer. These latter positions are appointed by the Council.
